Jingle Bell Rockin' it this year!

LOL!!! Here it is! The sneaky peek I posted about last weekend has debuted! The ladies of the Roxy & Rocco design group asked me to join them for thier "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree launch on ebay and my theme was the song Jingle Bell Rock. I created a funky "rockin" 3 piece outfit with my mosaic jeans, applique shimmery tee and hat! Bren modeled for me and she completely nailed.........or should I say "rocked"the photoshoot! The pictures are soo fun! You can see more of Becca's work on her website or catch up with her daily happenings on her blog too!

You can find this auction HERE

I've listed a bunch of other auctions too as I started to clear out and make room for my 2008 designs!

Many have NO RESERVE, low starting prices, are last chance designs - like my LAST Owl handbag , or modeled items. Plus another chance at my Hannah Montana Jeans!

Here's are few more cutie shots from the team of Brenandcompany!

Hannah Montana and Mini "owl" Collection

WHooooOOOO can resist all those cute owls and other birds that are so hot this season! I found some owl themed fabrics that I really related too with my type of style and create a little mini collection. All items are currently available on Ebay! I've created an outfit for girls with my own handrawn tree pattern. I just love that little owl tucked inside the tree! I've also created a few items for YOU as well! My first Mosaic handbag - TA DA!!! I love the bold, clean, crisp look on the one side but flip it over and it's fun, eclectic and funky! Following that theme, I've also created an apron that does double duty! It's reversible ladies!!!!! So whatever your mood or project, you'll have a handbag AND an apron to suit those needs.

And last but not least! Do you have a Hannah Montana fan in your household? Someone who aspires to be "ROCKSTAR" and loves to sing? I've got the jeans for you!!!! Since debuting my High School Musical jeans, I've had a few requests for "hannah montana please" and here they ARE!!!! She'll definately feel like superstar material in these! There's LOADS of details and lots to look at! Be sure to check these out too! Snatch her up a pair for the concert or for a christmas or birthday gift too!

You can see all my current by clicking here as well.

A "crabby" photoshoot

Can Dads be good photography assistants? I asked my hubby if he wanted to come along for a photoshoot I would be doing with our daughter as the model AND to mainly help me watch our little guy while I was busy with my eye behind the lens. He of course said "SURE" being the good husband that he is and that's when the "fun" began! LOL!!! I got right down to business snapping pictures knowing my that son was in good hands and I didn't need to watch or worry about him. It was very nice. I didn't even pay attention to what Dad was doing to keep him occupied until it started to interfere with what I was doing. Little red "interferences" kept popping into our photo area, landing near our feet and whizzing past our heads. "what the???"

CRAB APPLES! Well that is what he said they were. The trees in the area were full of them and they were all over the ground. Of course only a guy...ahem......a boy..........better yet, anyone of the male gender would undoubtedly see them as weapons, or something to play with and scoop them up handful after handful and throw them around. What my dear sweet husband had been doing while I was so anxiously engaged in the taking pictures was throwing crabapples around, mainly at my son as he giggled, laughed and tried to dodge them. Then he changed his target to us! LOL!!! I didn't mind really - just family fun, expect it soon got my daughter distracted from taking photos and she wanted to retaliate, and funny enough, she asked me to take pictures of her throwing them at Dad!

All in all, the photoshoot went well and turned out to be a fun family outing together! Which doesn't always happen with photo shoots! (wink, wink) My husband even said, "Take a picture of the crabapples and you can post it on your blog." LOL!!!! *sigh* Oh he knows me too well! He did manage to sneak alittle sweetness into our shoot as well. I just love those tender Daddy Daughter moments.

Modgirls

I just loved Jennifer Paganelli's new fabric line the moment I laid on eyes on it. Modgirls is fresh, funky with gorgeous lines, shapes and colors. It combines for many fun elements I jumped at the opportunity to mash them all together in my Mosaic Jeans. I contacted my_angel_sophie designer and asked if she would design a top to go with the jeans and she said YES! I was thrilled and the outfit came together great! She designed a fun ruffle top with great detailing! The auction is currently running for both pieces in custom sizes 2T - 12.
I also listed the modeled pair of my
High School Musical jeans
!!!! These are ready to be shipped to you and could even arrive in time for the debut of the second movie next week!

***edited - Jennifer Paganelli has added this outfit to her blog today! What an honor! you can check her blog out here. ***

Back into the swing of things!

Yeah! I'm back to my "real life" and already back in the the swing of things. I have a lots of laundry to do, emails and snail mail to go through - but that's typical! LOL!!!

The family reunion was fun and I got to go horseback riding for the first time. My husband has all the photos on his laptop as we emptied the 2 memory cards we had for the cameras at the end of each night to make sure we had room for the next days snapshots. We have SOOOOOO many pictures! LOL!!! So I'll share some photos possibly soon - if you want to see any.

But like I said - back to work for me! For those that don't know, outside of being a mommy and designing I also work at Boutiquecafe - a "podcast for fashion savvy mommies and so much more." I am now helping out with the podcasts more and have been given the new assignment of reporting the Boutique news!
It's fun to announce new ebay group launches, the launch of a new site or great sale or fun crafting event. If you have boutique news you would like to share with ALL of the listeners on Boutiquecafe - send me an email to - megan@boutiquecafe.com. We will try our best to get it included in that segment for you.

I also search out fabulous accessories and fashionable wardrobe pieces for the "BC finds" section. Daria - the host and owner - and I post amazing shoes, jewerly, outfits, aprons, etc for children and adults that we find on ebay and etsy. You can find something new, fun and fresh everyday in the BC finds! and hey, if you come across something great that you think deserves a bit of extra exposure send it my way - we just might feature it on the site!

GIVEAWAY........while the bloggers away.........

So I heading to NATURE for the week! *sigh* I can smell the fresh air and taste the smores already! I'll be helping out as a leader at a youth girls camp. No sleep, pranks, hiking, canoeing, chatting about boys - what could be better! LOL! I am excited to go but have million things to get done! And while I'm away I thought it would be fun to let all of you PLAY!

I'm doing a giveaway and moving out some inventory to make space for more projects. teeheehee. A couple of tops that I couldn't sell so hopefully I can give them away! If they are the right size for you for someone in your family then snatch at the chance to get one for free!

Heading to disneyland? I have a size 4 Minnie Halter top ready to see the Magical Kingdom with you! and I also have something for the women! A size XL dark blue Mosaic top designed with Amy Butler's Lotus fabric. Great for now and great for fall as well!

I have a chance to win one of these great tops just post a comment! I'd love to hear how you play with the "mouse" is away! I'll share one of my things first. Usually when my husband is gone, I for some reason, get in the re-decorating mode! LET'S go shopping!!! I like to find something new or fun, rearrange furniture, etc. Not sure why but the urge usually strikes me everytime. Another way I "play" is there isn't alot of cooking going on when my hubby is gone. I like to take the kids out for dinner or we'll hit grandmas too on occasion. YOUR TURN! how do you play?

The 2 LUCKY winners will be posted first part of next week when I return! Until then, happy posting!

And a last little gentle reminder that my girls chocolate lollipop mosaic outfit and matching Tank top auction will end early Thursday evening! Don't miss it!

Good enough to eat!

I teased earlier about another yummy design coming using the scrumptious fabrics from the Chocolate Lollipop fabric line. Have I used enough descriptive words yet? LOL! yes? good. As promised - here it is!

A beautiful collaboration and combination of fabrics, styles and designs between myself and Sandi of portabellopixie. We ended up both guesting with the ladies of the ebay boutique group Persnickety for a "Camden Market" launch.

Sandi created a beautiful dress with loads of details and finishing touches only Sandi can do! I created a fun "blouse" tank top with funky mismatched buttons and of course my signature Shaggy Mosaic jeans layered up with lots of different colors, patterns and shapes. The 2 outfits pair up well together and will be so versatile in her summer and fall wardrobe.

You can see more fun projects and designs using the chocolate lollipop fabrics in the Chocolate Lollipop flickr group! So if you are needing a fix for your sweet tooth without any guilt - go take a peek!

"Say CHEESE!!!!"

OK not literally so you strain your mouth like that BUT I know we have all had "Blooper" pictures whether they are family shots, boutique business photos, etc. I just discovered a fun new blog about just that - Boutique Blooper photos. Alot of work goes into designing the outfit, shopping for fabrics, notions, etc., sewing up the outfit and then actually DOING the photoshoot! Whew! There's always a few blooper shots or not so good ones. SO let's share and have a laugh or too. It's good for the soul. ;) some of the blooper shots look all to familiar to me as I have struggled before trying to get a great shot or two and trying to "work with" my little diva model of a daughter. *snicker* Enjoy the photos and send in some of your own to her. I can't wait to see more!

Girls Getaway - Boutiquecafe.com

Boy howdy! The first annual Boutiquecafe.com Girls Getaway was better than I thought it would be! I knew it would be fun and a great experience but actually being there to experience and revel in the moments was unbelievable! Lots of squeals and grins from ear to ear as designers met for the first time. Amazing instant connections being formed and new relationships.

The weekend was full of event after event and there was always a camera flashing somewhere. Sort of felt like the Red carpet all weekend long! Daria, Amelia and Eva are simply the sweetest most endearing ladies and I truly appreciate all they did to help pull this weekend off.

There was lots of getting to know you over food and shopping, laughing my guts out at 2:30AM in the morning as girls got silly "girl talk." Patty is one of the funniest people and so animated! she needs to be on T.V. where people can see her! She is little firecracker of a gal all packed into the cutest little body. And little she is! I seemed to tower over her but that really didn't seem to matter as far as friendships go.

The Saturday morning conference was great for networking, getting inspired and catching great phrases and info from the speakers. Carrie of puddlejumpershoes.com filled the room with a feeling of gratitude grab the present while you can - don't wait! Then Charlene May of Greggygirl.com inspired us all to achieve whatever greatness we wanted in our lives! Go out and get it! and of course let's not forget our own Amelia who spoke on "what I think HOT is all about." Not only what you wear and how you look she also brought in an emotional side to it. It was great to go shopping with her and get an honest opinion or two about worked and what didn't. I even bought a few really fun pieces for my wardrobe that I normally wouldn't have but was thinking a bit out of the box after hearing her speak that morning.

There's just oodles and oodles of stories that could be told from this weekend. Most I think will be kept secret. Hey! what happens in SLC at the girls getaway stays in SLC (wink, wink). Just don't miss it next year! Here's a few more pictures of the wonderful gals I had the pleasure of meeting.

Amie, Me, Chelsea, Dayna and Ticia (aka Cameron Diaz)

Me and Sandi

and the "gazza girls" (tee hee hee)

and the displays and giveaways - not to mention all the great "swag" we got was AMAZING!!! Thanks to Fiji water, Shade clothing, the Designhergals.com, Amy Butler and more!
Definately worth it to be there and I can't wait to see you all and MORE next year! the planning has already begun! See ya'll in Texas in 2008!!!!
